When we think of Measuring something we don’t often think that it will have much Mathematical thinking however measurement does. “There is much for young children to think about, discuss and discover before they will be ready for more conventional, adult-like measurement activities that involve the use of measuring tool and abstract ideas like ounces or inches” (Pearson 2014, 102).
